01 Introduction

In 2018, Branch Furniture's CEO Greg Hayes discovered a problem - buying office furniture is a tremendous hassle. He founded Branch to make it easy for people and teams to create inspiring offices. When Branch Co-Founder Sib Mahapatra came to us at Helixian they had recently gone through several developers and was in need of a trusted agency to improve Core Web Vitals metrics and to build UI/UX elements that their designers had been working hard to create.

    02 Description

    With Branch we started off by optimizing their theme according to Core Web Vitals, getting their store passing metrics. While we were working in Branch's theme we identified several bugs from a previous developer which were negatively impacting their new collection designs. We resolved the bugs and partially refactored the previous work to bring everything in working order and successfully launched their new collection template, mega menu template, and a "sticky" Add To Cart CTA.

    Variant Swatches & Image Swapping

    Similar to their collection page, Helixian refactored the variant swatches on the Branch PDP, dynamically displaying images based on variant selection. Helixian also implemented the improved template into the product quickview modal which is surfaced after customers complete their 'Design My Office' quiz.

      Collection Template

      With some bug fixes and a partial refactor we improved the logic related to Branch's collection page template - now with perfectly aligned hero images, working variant swatches and image swapping so their clients can browse and view their product options directly from the collection page.
